Further Information
Otter is a 40′, all-steel, cruiser stern narrowboat built in 1979 by David Piper. Propulsion is provided by a BMC 1.5 Diesel inboard engine with Borg Warner gearbox. Just by looking at this boat you can tell she has been lovingly maintained and loved, providing a cosy, homely feel inside.
Stepping into the cabin from the stern on the starboard side, an off-corridor bathroom is first. This is a wet room type with shower, handbasin and pumpout toilet. Next is the bedroom with fixed double bed with storage drawers underneath. Further storage is provided by additional cupboards overhead and at the foot of the bed. Handy storage space is also located along the hullside. Moving forward takes you to the galley area which features a freestanding gas oven, hob & grill, 230v fridge, sink/drainer and a generous amount of worktop and storage space. At the front of the cabin is the saloon with wall-mounted TV in cabinet, solid fuel stove, 2 freestanding chairs and a ‘V’ double berth under the deck. Doors then lead out onto the front well deck complete with Cratch and cover.
Otter also has a survey from 2021 and a BSC to 2027. This well loved boat is now at Wincham Wharf and available for viewing. Please call or email for more information or too arrange a viewing.
