Fishy McFishface is a 43′ all steel, traditional style narrowboat built in 1990 by G.T Boat Builders. Propulsion is provided by a BMC 1.8 Diesel engine with PRM Sewage gearbox.
She has a traditional layout, so entering from the trad stern takes you into the bedroom with a fixed double berth and storage above and below. The white cabin sides and ceiling give a light airy feel yet the wood trims and carpeted hull sides keep it feeling cosy. Moving forward, next is an off-corridor bathroom with Thetford Swivel Cassette toilet, corner unit with handbasin and storage and a good sized shower. Next you come to the galley area with central walkway. To port there is a stainless sink/drainer, 12V fridge with freezer compartment and freestanding gas oven with 4 burner hob. To starboard is a generous amount of additional worktop and storage space. At the front of the cabin is the saloon area. This is fitted with a lovely solid fuel stove and bench seating which converts into a double berth. Doors then lead out onto the well deck with Cratch and cover.
Fishy McFishface is clearly a well cared for boat. She had a survey in March 2023 as well as a BSC around the same time.
