Discovery is a 50′ Traditional stern narrowboat. While she is definitely a project boat the hull was built by the renowned GT Boatbuilders so there is an excellent base offering the potential to create a wonderful vessel. Propulsion is provided by a Beta Marine Diesel inboard engine. Externally she also benefits from recent pram and cratch covers. She is of the reverse type layout, entering from the stern takes you into the bedroom with fixed double berth and overhead storage cupboards. Moving forward, next we find an off-corridor bathroom with shower, handbasin, storage cupboard and Porta Potti. There is a large ‘U’ shaped galley with fridge, stainless sink/drainer, gas oven and 4 burner hob. At the front of the cabin is the saloon area with solid fuel stove and ample space for freestanding furniture. She also benefits from a bow thruster.
Discovery is a project boat requiring a lot of work but the potential is there for a very nice boat.
