The Engineer is an excellent example of a Collingwood Abode Mk 2 built in 2023 and meticulously maintained by the current owner. Propulsion is provided by a Canaline 60 Diesel engine with twin alternators and PRM150 gearbox.
She features a round cruiser stern with upholstered seating and pram cover providing a comfortable and sociable external area. From the stern you enter the cabin into the galley area which comprises of all the mod cons needed including oven, grill, hob, microwave, freezer, fridge, washer/dryer, dishwasher, wine cooler, bags of storage / worktop space and a central island with breakfast bar. The open plan leads into the saloon which offers plenty of room for freestanding furniture, currently housing a large ‘L’ shaped sofa. The focal point of the lounge is the fireplace which, for cleanliness and convenience, features a diesel stove. Above this is the inset flat screen TV. Storage is provided by built in cupboards and shelving while the skylight let in plenty of natural light. Moving forward, next we have the guest bedroom with fixed double bed, floor to ceiling wardrobes, cupboards, drawers and and dressing table / desk. Next we find the bathroom, this is equipped with a large rectangular shower, pumpout toilet, ceramic handbasin, wall mounted mirror and ample storage space. At the front of the cabin is the master bedroom. The fixed double bed provides storage space underneath while further storage can be found in the various floor to ceiling wardrobes, dressing table, bedside tables and shelving. A lift up TV hides away in the dressing table and can be raised or lowered by remote control when needed. Doors then lead out onto the front well deck providing a further external space. Other features include bow thruster, pram cover and Webasto Diesel central heating.
